A Tiny Show and a Big Thank You

 The inaugural show for the gallery has officially been wrapped up, and I'd say that it was a success! Thank you to our four wonderful artists, Ann Baer, Penny DeCamara, Leah Cashaw, and Jodi Brzezinksi, who trusted us with their work and pulled through with some gorgeous tiny art on such short notice. The Intricacies of Owning a Tiny Gallery

  Today was the first trip to gather some art for our first show, The Mixed Up, Messed Up Show. The title came about because I'm still learning how to run a gallery, (albeit a tiny one) and I'm learning as I go. I'm sure as time goes on, the process will become more streamlined, but for now, I've offered to meet up with local artists to pick up their work for shows. The image on this post is our new logo, designed by my wonderfully talented friend, Jodi Brzezinski. Jodi and I chatted about what style of logo I was looking for, I told her that I'm particular about the way the letter "G" looks written out, and I gave her the background information as to how I picked the name for GG. I also explained that the colors of GG are neutral; light and dark grey with white and some hints of navy blue, and that the word "gossamer" means something fine, delicate, or insubstantial.
