How to submit a proposal for a solo show

  Do you want to be featured in your own tiny art show? Here's how to apply: 1. Please send an email to   thegossamergallery@gmail.com.   In the subject line, write "show proposal". 2. If this will be a solo, or group show, and include the names and social media/website links and email/contact info for all interested people.  3. The show title, and include an artist's statement(s) if you have one. 4. The approximate number and sizes of works for the show, medium (photography, sculpture, drawings, etc.) and if the artworks will be for sale. If the art is for sale, please indicate the best way for potential buyers to contact you.  5. Please include 3-5 photo examples of the work to be shown, as well as any specific instructions for how the art should be displayed, or if you're giving Gossamer Gallery the right to choose how to display your work.  If you're selected for a show, the gallery will be in contact to set up the dates the show will run, as well ...

  Hello, and welcome to the official blog for The Gossamer Gallery, a tiny art gallery located inside of a dollhouse near Milwaukee, WI. This blog, as well as the dollhouse gallery, email account, and Instagram page are all run by me, Denise, AKA Art of Dash. I'm an elementary school art teacher with a passion for all types of art. The photo above is the mini me that I created specifically for Gossamer Gallery.  I've been a creator my whole life, and somewhere along the way, I started to make tiny art. The tinier, the better. I wanted to challenge myself to see how much I could fit into the smallest size canvas as possible.  The idea of building a dollhouse turned art gallery was influenced by a new friend that I connected with via Instagram, Holly Buchholz. Holly and her husband, Dan, run Tag and TiniER, a dollhouse turned art gallery that their children outgrew from childhood.
